Is a Victorian Police approved firearms collectors club and as such, when applying for a Firearms Collectors License, membership is taken into account as an indication of a genuine interest in firearms collecting. The Guild also holds approval as Cat A/B Hunting Club for a genuine reason to hold a Cat A/B shooters licence. Members have a Governor in Council exemption for the ownership and collecting of Swords, Daggers and Imitation Firearms.

It is therefore necessary that the guild have some membership, legal and character standards.

To be eligable for membership of the Northern Victorian Arms Collectors Guild, you must not be a Prohibited Person as defined by Victoria Firearms act of 1996, For more information go to the Victoria Police Website

It is a legal requirement that we ask all prospective members to provide us with a signed and witnessed Statutory Declaration that they are not a "Prohibited Person" We will need to see some form of photo ID as well and to ensure that the Guild has a core of like minded friendly members we also ask for two charactor references.

Currently the Guilds annual subscription is Ordinary $45.00 Pension $40.00
